Sungwoo Park

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Korea University. Before joining Korea University, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at EECS, UC Berkeley, where I worked with Prof. Ahmed M Alaa  after earning my Ph.D. from CAU under the supervision of Prof. Junseok Kwon. My research topic is to build probabilistic models upon stochastic dynamical systems (e.g., optimal transport, Riemannian geometry, differential games, stochastic geometry) and solve challenging variety types of machine learning tasks, including generative modeling, time-series analysis, and uncertainty calibration.
